Amanda Latta-Shields and Paul Portillo welcomed into our family a healthy baby girl, Addison Capri Portillo, on September 7 at 5:33am at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. Just a month before that, Amanda was riding Kripton to Regional Championships at the Region 1 show in Los Angeles. We’re sure it won’t be long before we see Addison in lead line!

Amandalusian will embark on an adventure across the country with our stallion, Kripton-SENI. Kripton and Amandalusian will be representing the Andalusian horse and the "Kripton Breyer". Anybody near the Kentucky Horse Park is welcome to attend! Come and see us for a "signed" poster of Kripton. BreyerFest takes place at the Kentucky Horse Park from July 15-17, 2011 in Lexington, Kentucky.

We had a great time at the first show of 2011 - Rainbow Royal, at the LAEC in Burbank. We were especially excited that our own Kripton son, Robusto AF - shown below - was awarded the Champion Andalusian Stallion of the show! See our show results page for more info.

We had a great time with Kripton and the California Andalusian Horse Alliance at the Pomona Equine Affaire. Kripton was a good boy in the booth and loved to meet and greet after the breed demo. It was so much fun to watch little girls with this big kind stallion - one woman exclaimed with glee when she and daughter realized they had just bought the Kripton Breyer model at the fair, and were now looking at the real HIM! Another family will be attending BreyerFest this year so we will see them later this summer in Kentucky.
